First aid, CPR and AED training
Build the practical skills and confidence to respond to a workplace or community emergency. We offer instructor-led first aid, CPR and AED training at our Concord training centre.
Our courses
Our courses combine clear instruction, realistic emergency scenarios and hands-on practice, so you can respond confidently until emergency medical services arrive. Both are designed to comply with CSA Standard Z1210-17.
- Basic First Aid (formerly Emergency First Aid): 8 hours. Prepares you to recognize an injury or illness, call EMS and give basic first aid.
- Intermediate First Aid (formerly Standard First Aid): 16 hours. More complete skills for a broader scope of workplace first aid.
Which course should I take?
It depends on your workplace, the number of employees, workplace hazards and the first aid requirements that apply to you. Contact us and we'll help you choose.
What to expect
- Hands-on practice that may include CPR, AED use and emergency scenarios
- Knowledge and practical evaluations
- A course completion certificate when you meet the course requirements
- No previous experience needed for full courses. Recertification courses may have additional prerequisites
What to bring
Bring photo ID and wear comfortable clothing suitable for practical activities and CPR practice on the floor.
Language
