Joint Health and Safety Committee certification: Part One and Part Two
If your company has 20 or more employees, you must have a Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC). At least one worker member and one management member must be certified, and this two-part course gives them that certification.
It's the law
Ontario law requires one worker member and one management member of every JHSC to be trained in the fundamentals of health and safety, and both must also be trained in the hazards of their own workplace. This training is called Certification Part One and Certification Part Two.
To stay certified, members take JHSC Refresher Training every three years.
